Who We Are

World Theology University is the private professional-education concept designed for a better future, born from the Genesis of New Vision University Network of Washington, D.C. on January 27, 2025. The Institution meets the requirements of the District of Columbia government, Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, Corporations Division (title 29-102.11), dated July 27, 2015, Washington, D.C., to obtain the religious exemption in higher education. Such requirements have been verified in accordance with the Education Code of Washington, D.C.

The programs were created to be delivered as Christian educational institutions, but recognizing the need to expand programs with greater academic weight in Spanish for a sector requesting asynchronous (virtual) education under rigorous, real-time guidelines, World Theology — WTU emerged, counting from the state of Florida, New York, etc. Our offering is focused on excellent service with a humanist and Christian identity, with excellent levels of higher education, using advanced technology to fulfill our university mission of teaching, tutoring, research, and knowledge transfer for the training of qualified professionals — ready to take on the challenges needed to satisfactorily meet all the social, cultural, scientific, and economic development requirements the world demands.

At NVU, we consider it important to project positive attitudes based on advancing toward clear, defined goals for the Student and the graduate who wishes to continue professional preparation on a solid foundation of advanced knowledge that favors sustainable cultural development. We believe in diversity and equal rights, and we oppose discrimination adverse to social reality.

WTU views the evolution of human development as bringing the world closer together; therefore, WTU promotes a broad socio-educational paradigm free of barriers, because learning only requires shaping human attitudes to their optimal degree of thought. “World Theology University” is a Teaching Institution that offers its students, staff, collaborators, and allies every opportunity to improve, thanks to the excellent service we provide with an absolute Christian identity in delivering and promoting university education.

Our mission

World Theology University is a distance higher-education institution registered in the local and international community, offering an alternative to traditional university education through the use of a technology platform. We propose an inclusive philosophy and respect for diversity; the University offers and confers academic degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, continuing-education certifications, and allied programs through enrollment at New York Academy, all aimed at promoting the comprehensive education of the local and international community of the Christian and secular world.
