If you’re a licensed registered nurse with an associate degree or nursing diploma looking to advance your profession, the RN to BSN program can help you move into a supervisor role and build a strong career — toward becoming a clinical nurse specialist, nurse practitioner, nurse midwife, nurse anesthetist, or health care system leader.
Clinical hours in health assessment are embedded in your coursework and earned as you complete assignments, culminating in a final capstone. These directed-care experiences are thoughtfully designed to differ from traditional pre-licensure clinical placements — a personalized approach that lets you explore areas of health care aligned with your individual goals, even as a seasoned nurse expanding into new specialties.
An optional Nursing Informatics diploma track is also available, emphasizing electronic health records, clinical decision support tools, medication administration technology (BCMA/RFID), and advanced concepts in clinical nursing informatics — preparing you for roles with health care vendors, consulting firms, or managed care organizations.
